HydroPod is a self-watering planter designed to take care of your plants for you, so that you can celebrate them. It uses a hydroponic wick system to keep plants hydrated, without any risk of under or over watering them. Inspired by the traditional Japanese practice of ‘forest bathing’ or ‘shinrin yoku’, HydroPod brings the element of nature and the mindfulness around it, into your surroundings.

We all know how important it is to keep plants healthy and to water them regularly, but sometimes ‘too much’ or ‘too little’ can be the problem. With all their different needs in mind, we have designed a solution which allows your plants to look after themselves. The cotton wick simply delivers water from the reservoir to the soil. 

Celebrate the element of surprise in nature from the comfort of your own home. We are designed to have connectivity with the natural world but often we lack the time for this practice. HydroPod allows you to observe and engage with your plant's root growth through the handblown transparent glass, and to enjoy the success of your thriving plants. 

As we are currently spending 85-90% of our time indoors and cities are becoming more concentrated, we find ourselves bringing plants into our homes and making them a calmer place to live in. Traditionally, this has been a way in which many people relax.
